How LEVL measures

ADM / Atmos master files are measured as the sum of their channels. For a rendered Atmos measurement use the Dolby Atmos Renderer.

Your audio never leaves this computer

LEVL isn't a website you upload to. It's a tool that runs inside your browser, on your machine, like any desktop app.

  1. There is no server. Your files are opened and measured right here. There is nowhere for them to go.
  2. Your browser enforces it. LEVL carries a security lock that tells your browser to block every connection the page could make to the internet. Even if the code tried to send something, the browser would refuse. Checking the lock…
  3. Try it yourself. Turn off Wi-Fi or switch on airplane mode, then use LEVL. It works exactly the same, because it never needed the internet.
  4. Nothing is kept. When you close the page, every trace of your audio is gone. The only things remembered are your artist, project and target settings, in this browser only.
  5. Nothing is hidden. The download is a single readable file. Anyone can open it in a text editor, or watch the browser's network log stay empty while LEVL measures a whole album.
